Katherine Yates

Katherine Yates has been a qualified Solicitor for over 23 years.
Prior to qualifying Katherine spent several years working in a Social Services Department as a Youth Justice Officer and in a District Council Housing Department as a Young Persons' Housing Officer.

Sophie Taylor
SOLICITOR
Sophie has worked at Andrew Grove & Co. for the entirety of her legal career, training and working as a Paralegal before qualifying in 2016.
Sophie therefore has considerable experience in the area of historic child abuse.
Out of the office, Sophie likes to read fantasy fiction, practise Yoga and spend time with her pets.

Charlotte Denley
SOLICITOR
Charlotte has worked at Andrew Grove & Co. for over 10 years. She joined us as a secretary then worked her way up to qualifying as a solicitor in July 2021. During her time with us Charlotte has gained a wealth of experience in abuse law assisting with large group actions and individual cases against children’s homes, boarding schools and mainstream schools.
In her spare time Charlotte likes to run with her running club and plays the cornet for a local brass band.

Julie Avery
FINANCE
Bringing a forensic level of attention to detail to her work, Julie has acted as a financial controller in various roles for over forty years and has been with Andrew Grove & Co. since 1999. She believes passionately in what the firm achieves for its clients and adds to the strength of its team by quietly and diligently managing the firm’s payroll and financial accounts.
Julie is married with two grown-up children and enjoys travel and cooking although these things have recently been eclipsed by the new loves of her life, her grandchildren.
