Frant Court
Frant Court was a residential children's home for girls located in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. It was opened in 1980 by the London Borough of Greenwich and closed in 1996.
James Cruickshank Boyes was employed as a keyworker at Frant Court from 1985 to 1990. Mr Boyes was arrested in April 2002 following numerous complaints made against him. He was charged with 2 counts of rape and 13 counts of indecent assault relating to former residents of Frant Court.
In July 2002 at his plea hearing Mr Boyes absconded from Court. He was tracked down seven years later after a 2nd BBC Crimewatch appeal.
On 5th May 2011 at Brighton Crown Court Mr Boyes, after pleading guilty to all counts, was sentenced to 20 years' imprisonment.
This firm has received further complaints from former residents of Frant Court and are carrying out further investigations. If you have any further information or were a resident at Frant Court then we would like to hear from you. Please contact a member of the team.
